Working parents today often struggle to find safe, reliable and affordable child care, and employees at Eisenhower Health—the Coachella Valley’s largest employer—are no exception. To provide a solution, Eisenhower is creating a child care center just for its employees. And the Auxiliary is helping to raise funds to build it.
While the primary goal of the new Eisenhower Child Care Center is to provide a safe, nurturing environment and help parents balance professional and family responsibilities, it also gives Eisenhower a competitive advantage for retaining and recruiting talent in today’s tight labor market.
The new Center will be a 17,000-square-foot modern facility with 14,000 square feet of outdoor play area and accommodate 120 to 140 children. Trained caregivers will offer an age-appropriate curriculum and education. The Center is slated to open in late 2025.
